Instinctive and educated sense of marketing and sales. I love it and I’m good at it. £300,000 of fees generated in the first year by a project I won for WTS from Reckitt & Colman.
Strong communicator in French (mother tongue) and English. My Russian and Spanish are more rusty. Brand research in 6 countries in 5 weeks for Procter & Gamble.
Ability to write persuasively and concisely. I came top of the class in proposal writing at Conran Design Group in my first year in England.
Inspirational and charismatic leadership. I like to take charge but I’m also a good team member. I never lose sight of what needs to be achieved and am well aware that I can’t do everything. I brought together and encouraged members of the medical charity CGD Research Trust to express their brand values and deepest fears and hopes.
Strategic thinking and analytical mind. I can tell what makes your business tick and how it could work better and why. Perspective and experience are useful tools in this context.
Strong sense of honesty and directness. If something’s wrong or obvious to me, I don’t see the point in hiding it from my clients. I usually have been asked to observe, benchmark and come up with solutions to improve a situation and I do just that for the benefit of my clients even if they find it a little hard to accept at first.

July 1984 – graduation from Business Management School and first job in a design agency in Paris
October 1986 – move to the UK and start at Conran Design Group
May 1995 – A Vos Marques is born in Oxfordshire to help design agencies develop their business and SMEs use more design
April 2003 – A Vos Marques becomes Limited
October 2003 – A Vos Marques moves North!
May 2005 – A Vos Marques is 10. Anniversary Direct Mail gets mention in Marketing Week and seduces new clients right into 2008!
April 2009 - A Vos Marques goes back to sole trader status
